It is less than a month away until the Nintendo Switch releases and despite having some unanswered questions about the console, we have been told that Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will get a season pass. This will be the first DLC pass on a Legend Of Zelda title so we are excited to see what this will unlock. But first, let’s let producer, Eiji Aonuma, tell us more about what to expect in this new expansion.
From The Horse’s Mouth!
In short, this season pass will set you back £17.99 which is reasonable considering some season pass prices rival that of a new game! Players will be able to locate three extra chests in the Grand Plateau area with one of them containing a Switch branded shirt for Link.
There will be two packs available later this year which will add more to the story line and add more challenging game play to the base game. This sounds like it will be a nice opportunity for fans of the Zelda series to continue enjoying the franchise until the next Zelda games makes its way onto Switch. With the first pack set to release in summer and the next one to release nearer to Christmas, it looks like there will be a lot of content to make this game worth while.
The question is, does this make the Nintendo Switch more appealing? Appealing enough to buy at launch? Probably not, but I think this purchase will be inevitable and when I do own a Nintendo Switch then Hyrule is the first place I’m going to visit!
