World Of Van Helsing: Deathtrap

World Of Van Helsing: Deathtrap is a top down, RPG tower defense game which has received some mediocre reviews. The game is fun and the character developments are rewarding but the movement and ending are the biggest downsides of this game. If tower defense is your type of game then give it a whirl!

Killer Instinct: Season 2 Ultra Edition

This game will help keep many fans of fighting games tied over until Tekken 7 arrives later in 2017.

The Cave

Platftoms: Xbox 360, Xbox One

The Cave is a puzzle platform adventure game where you can select 3 characters from 7 and make your way through the story. Your character selection will be locked throughout the story so if you wanted to try a different combination of character you will need to start a new game. The game is enjoyable and has some replay value if you find the story engrossing enough to play through again.

IGN Score: 7.9/10
Metacritic Score: 68%
Gamespot Score: 7/10

Rayman Origins

Platforms: Xbox 360, Xbox One

Rayman Origins has been reviewed well and will please any fans of some of the most popular games in history. The side scrolling platformer is, well, original in many ways but also brings a great sense of humor along for the ride. Team up with a buddy and take on the story together as some of the more hilarious moments come when playing in co-op. Either way, if you are looking for a game that takes the best parts of classic gaming with modern day appeal then look no further!

IGN Score: 9.5/10
Metacritic Score: 86%
Gamespot Score: 8.5/10

This War Of Mine: The Little Ones

Platforms: PS4

This War Of Mine is a thought provoking story based game where the morality behind every decision is hard to justify. The essence of the game is about surviving but the story is probably the most thought provoking experience found in any game. This makes the game great in some ways but in many others it also loses some of the fun elements of knowing your playing a game. Who wants to experience what war was really like by having to make such hard decisions? If you answered yes then you know what to do.

IGN Score: 8.4/10
Metacritic Score: 78%
Gamespot Score: 7/10

Day Of The Tentacle Remastered

Platforms: PS4

Day of the Tentacle is a funny point and click story game where you will need to solve various puzzles to complete the game. Originally made in 1993, there are some puzzles in the game that seem devoid of modern day logic and can be a bit harder to solve as a result but that is only part that is showing its age on the whole. You will probably enjoy this game if you are a fan of this genre so download it whilst you can!

IGN Score: 8.8/10
Metacritic Score: 84%
Gamespot Score: N/A

Blazerush

Platforms: PS3

Blazerush is a quirky combat racing game that may initially remind of a modern day micro machines but unfotunately feels more like a poor man’s Mario Kart. The concept is the same as a Mario Kart in the sense of you are racing against various opponents and you can pick up power ups to help you reach the front of the pack. You would think that the game would allow players to freely play the game with all weapons and boosts from the beginning but unfortunately each level feels like a tutorial as each power up is slowly introduced one at a time, thus making this game one long learning experience. The game has potential if you’re willing to sit through it all.

When you have learned the basics you can upgrade your gear and take on greater challenges as the security measure increase in difficulty too. There is plenty of fun game play to experience in The Swindle so make sure you try it out for free this January.
